Everything is Relevant: Writings on Art and Life 1991 – 2018 is 340 pages in length and is absent of several key essays I wrote because I could not locate them among old cd-roms. They have since been found, but too late for publication. The book has a diversity of essays but all linked by an evolving personal view of the world that was not even clear to me until I re-read the entirety of my writings. I hope you will consider picking it up. I was co-curator of Shanghai Modern: 1919 – 1945, contributing an essay on the concept of Aesthetic Education during post-Qing Dynasty Republican China. I was also co-curator of Sharjah Biennial 7 with its theme title of Belonging. I include an image of the opening of the exhibition in the Emirate of Sharjah with my greeting the Sheik Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi.
